Game Informer confirmed earlier today that the WII 2 is in the pipeline for production but no official announcement by Nintendo has yet been made. That announcement could come by E3 or as early as the end of this month. What makes this a topic to follow is the rumored 1080p graphics of this new Nintendo offering. What makes it a gamble is the Kinect. I for one love the WII for what it is. I’m not sure an attempt at the “Hardcore” market is in the company’s best interest but I’ll be checking it out at E3 either way.
