Broadband provider Comcast announced today that they have already made 105 Mbps connection speeds available to more than 3 quarters of their market. That means that 40 million people now have access to speeds that could mean a full HD movie download in a few minutes. With this move Comcast has basically thumbed their noses at the FCC 100/100 goal. Apparently they didn’t need government aid. I might though when I go get this 100$ a month service. Check out this article over at DSL reports for more info.
